Yes. The transcription engine handles both Bangladeshi and Indian Bengali (West Bengal) speech. Accuracy is best with clear recordings in standard Bengali.
What audio formats can I transcribe?
You can upload MP3 files now. We plan to add support for WAV, M4A and other common audio formats, as well as MP4, MOV and other video files. The tool extracts the audio track automatically.
Can I transcribe long Bengali recordings?
At the moment, there is a soft-limit of 60 minutes for new accounts, but we can increase this limit on demand. There is no hard limit on file duration, so if you need to transcribe full-length lectures, interviews, podcasts and voice memos, contact us to increase your account limits.
Is the output in Bengali script or romanized text?
The transcription outputs Bengali script (বাংলা). You receive the text in the same script the language is normally written in.
