What audio formats can I transcribe?

You can upload MP3 files now. Support for WAV, M4A and other common audio formats, as well as MP4, MOV and other video files is coming soon. The tool extracts the audio track automatically.

How long can my German audio file be?

In the beta phase, we are currently limiting the duration to 60 minutes, but contact us if you need longer content. There is no strict limit on file duration. Longer files take more time to process, but you can transcribe full-length recordings, lectures and interviews.

Does it support Austrian and Swiss German?

Yes. Narakeet supports three German dialects: Germany (de-DE), Austria (de-AT) and Switzerland (de-CH). Select the appropriate dialect before transcribing for the best accuracy.
