Expressive Voice Upgrades

Three new expressive American English voices and major upgrades to child and Australian voices make your audio content more natural and engaging.

New American English Voices

We’re excited to introduce three new expressive American English voices: Max, Franklin, and Maya. These voices are designed for natural, engaging audio that keeps your audience interested through longer content like podcasts, audiobooks, and educational videos.

Check out the samples below to quickly hear how the new voices sound:

  • Shuang (Chinese, Mandarin, Child, Female, Child)
  • Mengyao (Chinese, Mandarin, Child, Female, Child)
  • Franklin (English, American, Male, Expressive)
  • Max (English, American, Male, Younger, Expressive)
  • Maya (English, American, Female, Younger, Expressive)
  • Emily (English, Australian, Female, Expressive)
  • Russel (English, Australian, Male, Warm, Younger, Friendly, Expressive)

Upgraded Child Voices

Shuang and Mengyao are now polyglot voices. Previously limited to Chinese, these child female voices now support more than 50 languages. This gives you more options for creating content with young-sounding voices across many languages.

Enhanced Australian English Voices

Emily and Russel, our Australian English voices, have been upgraded to sound more natural and expressive. The improvements make them ideal for conversational content and engaging narration.
