Our speech-to-text transcription tool now supports MP3, WAV, M4A, MP4, AVI and other popular audio and video formats.
Expanded format support
When we launched the Speech to Text tool in beta, it only accepted MP3 files. We’ve now expanded format support significantly. You can upload:
- Audio formats: MP3, WAV, M4A and more
- Video formats: MP4, AVI and more
When you upload a video file, the audio track is extracted automatically before transcription begins. No need to convert your files first.
